How to remove Calendar spam?

So, i was browsing Internet in Safari in iPhone and there was this website and when i opened it there was a pop-up and i accidentally clicked on “subscribe” and then i noticed my calendar had events like “IPhone security pack discount”. Any suggestions as to how to remove access of these sites from my calendar. I know it’s isn’t interrupting me or anything but still it’s frustrating and one another thing do i have to worry about my other information like partner details or my logging saved in my iPhone? Here is my calendar looking rn

Go to Settings/Calendar/Accounts, Tap Subscribed Calendars, tap on the offending calendar and delete it.

More precisely:

  • Tap on the Settings icon
  • Scroll down to Calendar and tap on on it
  • Tap on Accounts
  • Tap on Subscribed Calendars
  • Tap on the offending calendar
  • Tap Delete Account

The only way a rogue calendar can be installed is if you allow it. As you have deleted the one that was installed previously you don’t have to take any further action, except to be careful in the future.

It did not access your iCloud; it just installed a local calendar on your phone.

The only additional thing you should check is for a rogue profile (they are installed the same way). Go to Settings/General and scroll to the bottom. Just below VPN there may be an entry called “Profile” or “Device Management”. If there isn’t your phone is clean. If there is, tap on it, review any installed profiles and delete any that shouldn’t be there. There are legitimate profiles, but these should be easily recognizable. For example, a beta profile if you have a beta version of iOS installed, or a company or school profile if your phone is part of a company or school network.

Your phone is not damaged, and no one ca access your photos and stuff like that.

As you apparently didn’t read the post right below the one you responded to (it was marked SOLVED and was by my esteemed associate Alex F) here are its contents again.

That is a Rogue Calendar account. Go to Settings-->>Passwords & Accounts and under Accounts see if an unknown calendar is listed. If it is then tap on it and then Delete account.

Good Luck.
