I have a TCL/roku TV and cannot get the volume or the off/on to function with the apple remote. Siri and all other controllers work for me. Is this problem residing with the TV.?r

Doe the apple TV remote have an issue pairing on/off and volume control with 4k TCL/Roku set

New 4K remote works fine with except volume control. My previous (older) Apple TV’s worked fine in this area. My new Apple TV 4K works great in all aspects. However, I can’t get the remote volume control to change the volume. With two previous and older Apple TV’s, with the same equipment worked fine. Even the volume control. Thanks
