DisneyNOW app won’t load

I am no longer able to open the DisneyNOW app on my Apple TV 4K. It was working yesterday and now when I open the app the splash screen/logo appears then doesn’t progress any further. I’ve deleted and restarted the device and reinstalled to no avail. Anyone have any suggestions?

I ended up resetting my Apple TV device to factory and starting over from scratch. This resolved the issue.

It is not a simply dismissal, but the fact that this is an app that is developed by a 3rd party and Apple is only responsible for fixing issues with the apps they produced. If the issue is only occurring with Disney's app, that is where the issue resides.

Each platform runs a different version of the app, with the Apple TV running a version specifically developed for TVOS. An issue can easily impact one, while the others continue to work. Waiting for others to respond is only going to prolong the inevitable, as a user cannot fix this and it would still require contacting Disney so they can investigate and patch things on their end.

I appreciate your input and you may very well be correct, but I’m not fond of that response. In my opinion, it’s too quick to dismiss that it could be an issue with Apple TV and assumes it’s only an issue with Disney. I say this because the app opens and works fine on all my other devices (iPhone, iPad etc.). I was hoping others may be having or had the same issue and could chime in on if and how they resolved it. I will seek assistance from Disney as well though, Thanks.
