OS for Series 7000

The Series 7000 nomenclature on an apple Watch refers only to the aluminum used in its case. It does not identify the model of the Apple Watch in any way.

The current watchOS 6 can be installed on all models of apple watch except the first generation or series 0 Apple watch.

What model of Apple watch do you have exactly? Use the link I provided above

If you have not been able to update past watchOS 4.3, then you likely have a first generation Apple Watch which cannot update past that.

What do you mean by 7000 series?

Thanks for that. I was lost, but now that you make that comment, I remember that designation, but never thought to use it to identify a Watch.

The original Apple Watch is too old for it run anything newer. It’s been stuck on watchOS 4 for about 2 years now.
