Is there a way to get an audio line in on MacBook Air (Retina, 13-inch, 2019)?

I want to run a line in from my old walkman to convert my old cassettes using QuickTime. I am running Catalina 10.15.2. Is this possible and is there an adapter that will accept a line in? (I have an adapter with the Thunderbolt 3 and USB ports

Thank you, I think this will be just the ticket along with the 3.5 mm cable to connect the walkman. I was trying to avoid buying one of those inexpensive cassette to USB converters because the reviews on those are poor.

There are multiple options. The one I linked was just the first to show up and I frankly don't like how wide it is. Obviously you'll need a USB-A to USB-C conversion, but I'd assume you already have an adapter of hub that does that.

The problem is that there could be differences in quality with the A/D conversion of an inexpensive device. Good luck. I was always making cassettes, but never really tried to turn cassettes into digital files.

Thanks, again. I did do more research about the product you linked. It seems that it only inputs mono. I looked further and found a simple converter that should allow for stereo input. Although, what I will be transferring are lectures — not music. I will repost with item specifics and results when I receive it and do some experimenting. And yes, I do have a converter for the USB conversion.
