Airtel (India) support for Apple Watch Series 5 GPS + Cellular purchased from US

I had purchased Apple Watch Series 5 from US (Model Number A2095). I was not able to configure

cellular plan on Airtel network. I had to escalate the issue with Watch technical specification multiple times and finally got it resolved.

As per Airtel team, Apple Watch Series 5 model A2095 is not supported on Airtel India network. But Airtel Bangalore supports FD1800MHz and TD2300MHz bands and as per the specification of Series 5 model A2095, it supports both FD1800MHz and TD2300MHz bands

I shared this data with Airtel team and finally got it configured. Now I am using Watch Series 5 on Airtel Bangalore network for the last 3 months with cellular plan enabled. Still there are some issues related to parallel rings on iPhone and watch but I feel it is related to Airtel network

Hi,

As per Series 5 cellular model (40mm and 44mm) specification, it supports both FD 1800MHz and TD 2300MHz and Airtel Mumbai circle supports these frequncies. So it should work on Airtel Mumbai network. I am not sure about TN cirlces

Yes KN circle (Airtel Bangalore) support both FD 1800MHz and TD 2300MHz bands.
