I can receive mail from another device I’m using? I switch from Yahoo.com to Yahoo mail. How can I correct this. I am getting mail on my iPhone

i cannot receive mail from another device. I switch from Yahoo.com to Yahoo mail. I’m not able to change the password on my iPad to match my password on iPhone.

IPad w/IOS 12 and att/yahoo mail After changing password, we were unable to access mail (which is intertwined with yahoo severs) on our old iPad Air with the apple mail app. The system is “up to date” running IOS 12.5.7. We tried and failed installing the yahoo mail app. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
