Lost all contacts on my Mac. Restored from iCloud per instructions. Got e-mail that all was restored.
Contacts still blank when I checked
Restart then hold SHIFT key down as it is starting up.
Don't know how to do this. Please give step by step instructions if you can. Thanks.
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at startup), does the problem occur in Safe Mode?
Safe mode attempts to repair Disks & clears lots of caches, so if Safe Mode works try again in regular boot.
