AppleCare+ for a MacBook bought from a third-party seller

I bought the MacBook Pro 13" 256GB 2019 model from a third party store. Can I get an AppleCare plan? It says I need to update the date of the purchase somehow.

MacBook Pro 13", macOS 10.15

I thought you had, just wanted to be clear, I think the only thing left is to call Apple... but I'm not holding out much hope at this point. :(

It's a third-party shop selling computers, not specifically apple products.
