Notes, Export as PDF, PDF is terrible quality

When I export a note it does not export the original image, it converts to a pdf.

There is a SUBSTANTIAL loss of quality.

How can I export the original image used to create the note?

When I try to export the Note, the only option is this mini/cropped PDF version which is useless (see attached- it might look normal there but the image is only 1/4th of the screen in the file). The solution I've found is a work-around of screenshotting it. But then I need to crop it (just to make it its original dimensions). Save a handwritten Note as an image The Notes app used to have a "send a copy" option under the three dots menu. It looks like that's gone now. How can I save my handwritten note as an image? I can't save as a PDF because that adds page breaks and cuts off my notes. I can't take screen shots because my note is longer than one page.

Which device are you using?
Does this happen when using multiple devices?
Do you experience the same thing if you using Pages?
