Screen protector - yes or no

Ok I've had a screen protector on since day 1 and I've just removed it to fit another. Problem is that the naked screen is SOOOO nice. Now debating if to leave it naked.

I have a bumper type case so if put down, neither face will touch the surface.

Who has a naked screen, and is it really mote tolerant to scratches??

Do you think if it got scratched thru normal use, Apple would replace it if you quote that they say the screen is supposed to be more scratch resistant?

DEFINITELY NOT!

Apple doesn't cover wear and tear. Screen protectors are a MUST for the iPhone 4 this "scratch resistant screen" is far from it, somehow i have 2 scratches and I have no clue what from never dropped never mistreated always pocket carried.

Oddly enough, there is a post (or a few) on here, mentioning that people have gotten AppleCare to replace their phones when the screen is cracked (or AppleCare may have just fixed the screen).

I have my screen protectors ready for the i4. I have scratched the first iphone, I had it naked. My phones afterwards all had screen protectors and haven't had one scratch. Sometimes I am in a rush and just throw my phones in my purse without puting them in the cell part of the purse.. I don't want to risk it. I must agree some screen protectors you can't even tell you have it on.. as long as you are very careful and replace them when they need replacing, they start to bubble up on the corners when they get old. I get them on ebay real cheap.. 99 cents for 2.

I never used a screen protector on my 3G, though I did put a couple on briefly. They never seemed to go on quite right, though I always had the cheap ones. Today, I got the Zagg one for my iPhone 4 and put it on. I have to say that at first blush, I don't like it, though it did go on better than the cheaper ones. Anyway, the destructions said that little bubbles and stuff should go away after 2-3 days, so I am going to give it a week and see if it still annoys me. If it does, I'll go back to naked with the bumper.
