Pages 8.2.1 : framing a text
I'm writing a book and I would like to frame parts of the text (here and there) with a simple linear border and give this part a background color. Is this possible?

Select your target text box. Click the Style tab, and on the Style panel, it will be obvious how to fill the text box with color, or add a line or picture frame border around it. Since these introduce transparency, it will detract from the overall sharpness of your Pages content when exported to PDF, if that is an output goal.
