Device Backups Missing

Hello, I successfully backed up my iPhone and iPad last month, but when trying to back it up now the summery screen says “your iPhone has never been backed up to this computer”. Additionally “backup now” and “restore backup” is grayed out. Under preferences then devices, device backups is empty. They are listed in mobilesync however, just not showing up in iTunes. I’m using windows 8.1 and iTunes along with my phone and iPad are current. I’ve tried different cables and restarting both the computer and devices. I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it. So far, no luck.

(I’m new here, so hopefully I’m posting this in the correct spot)
