Iphone 11 pro max died after pool side activity

iphone 11 pro max died after pool side activity.

Doesn’t encounter this issue when I brought my 8+(IP67) to take photo at the swimming pool.

But out with my 3months old 11 pro max, the whole unit failed after a 20 minutes session. (With green line on screen and fogging camera lens)

If the apple iphone could not withstand liquid damage and apple does not cover it, why in the first place, show the consumer a wrong message?

All the advertisement that show case how robust the phone is against wet environments come with the tech spec of IP68 that can withstand 4m depth and 1/2 hour seems misleading the consumer to believe that the iPhone is the strongest iPhone phone in the world.
