iTunes not syncing all photos to iphone from Photos on Mac - SOLVED

Although this question has been asked before comments were closed so I've opened it again. Mac OS10 Mojave syncing iTunes 12.9.5.5 to iPhone XS Max using latest iOS 13.3.1.

I recently discovered that not all images within a photo album were being copied to the iPhone. However I found that renaming the album inPhotos on the Mac then re-syncing with the phone from iTunes by usb cable from the Mac (not through a hub) remedies the issue. All lost images have now been restored and copied. Hope this helps others with the same problem.
