Thanks for taking your time to post in Apple Support Communities. I see that your iPhone keeps taking pictures while it’s on lock screen and I’d like to help.

It’s possible that you might be pressing on the Camera icon on the lock screen to activate the Camera app. You can prevent this from happening by enabling Screen Time and restricting access to the Camera app. See this article: Use Screen Time on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

To do this, go to Settings > Screen Time > Turn on Screen Time if you haven’t yet > Continue > This is My iPhone > Content & Privacy Restrictions > turn on Content & Privacy Restrictions and tap Allowed Apps. From there, you can restrict your Camera app and this can prevent the app from enabling from the lock screen. 

You can try this method and see if it still takes random pictures. If it does, let me know. If it doesn’t, then it's safe to say that it’s been taking pictures randomly by opening up the Camera app from the lock screen. This can often happen especially if you keep your iPhone in a purse, bag, pocket, etc.
