IPhone X stopped working underwater

Yesterday for the first time I put my iPhone X underwater at a depth of less than 50 cm and less than 7 min. iPhone stopped working. Right now touch-screen doesn't react to any tap but the screen still working and shows time and "Swipe up to unlock".

Does it mean that iPhone X hasn't any waterproof?

Can smb advise on what I can do to make touch-screen works again?

Thank you!

iPhone X, iOS 13

Well, why Apple says about water resistance?! It's a misleading.
They should say: NEVER put your iPhone underwater because we don't guarantee what you phone will work after this, and doesn't matter which IP it has.

They do.

About splash, water, and dust resistance of iPhone 7 and later - Apple Support
To prevent liquid damage, avoid these:
Swimming or bathing with your iPhone
Exposing your iPhone to pressurized water or high velocity water, such as when showering, water skiing, wake boarding, surfing, jet skiing, and so on
Using your iPhone in a sauna or steam room
Intentionally submerging your iPhone in water
Operating your iPhone outside the suggested temperature ranges or in extremely humid conditions
Dropping your iPhone or subjecting it to other impacts
Disassembling your iPhone, including removing screws

Legally it makes no difference. The warranty terms explicitly state that liquid damage is not covered by the warranty. There's also this line:

Liquid damage is not covered under warranty, but you might have rights under consumer law.

It means that there are no guarantees about meeting the water resistance standard. Apple tests samples built to production standards. It doesn't mean that the seals don't degrade with normal exposure to environmental conditions. And it doesn't mean that one can get it wet (without damage) and then do it over and over again, as that tends to weaken the seals.
