does using apple maps count against my data plan on my iPhoneX?

1. Under Settings - Cellular you can see the MB-usage of Maps.
2. Under Settings - Cellular you can switch off Maps and you will see whether the app works offline (I assume that no, because it uses GPS to locate your position); if yes it doesn't charge your plan.
