I can’t update my phone to IOS 13

I have restarted my phone, backed up my cloud, bought more storage but my update still says update requested. I recently bought a Apple Watch and can’t use it because my phone won’t update to pair with it!

Turn off automatic updates, turn phone off/on, then try again.

If still no joy, do you have a computer? You can use iTunes to do the update.
