Trackpad feels different from another Macbook Pro

I am using a 2015 Macbook Pro, and for some reason, the trackpad feels a bit different from another 2015 Macbook Pro that I used recently. It seems to feel more sensitive on the other one. The keyboard also feels completely different, so the keys on the one that I usually use are much less firm than on the other one. What could account for this difference?

Apple can source parts for components from various sources. It is not uncommon for Apple to have at least two different suppliers of the components so there can be slight differences to the very discerning. The 2015 laptops use the force touch trackpad so depending how it is calibrated it can potentially feel slightly different on each laptop.
