QUICKTIME (AFTERE USING THIS YETI MIC FOR SOMETIME SUCCESSFULLY TO RFECORD AUDIO ONLY, I NOW AM TOLD "QUCIK TIME IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO ACCESS THE MICROPHONE"?

The only thing I hadn't done was restart the computer and THAT SOLVED THE PROBLEM. THANK YOU
You need to tell us "what changed" -
Did you update your MacOS system software? Anything at all that you may have added or updated on your Mac?
Describe in detail what you have tried as troubleshooting
Have you restarted your Mac?
If you can't record audio after installing macOS Mojave or later - Apple Support

Restart is the FIRST step in troubleshooting ANY problem on ANY device
Back in "the day" folks used to shut down their computers when they were finished using them for the day - booting fresh daily probably prevented many glitches
I always restart if I perceive ANY slight change in expected behavior
I have tried the suggested remedy system prefs, privacy, select app, etc. No good
quicktime player is not authorized to access the microphone ( I haVE BEEN USING TIS MIC TO RECORD AUDIO ONLY FOR YEARS, AND SUDDENLY IT IS NOT AUTHORIZED?)
