Silent button

Hello,

the ring/silent button is not working anymore. I bought my iPhone 11 in December (2019), and nothing happened with it, is just not working. What should I do now? Is it just something on settings maybe?

iPhone 12 button hardware or software issue Hi, my new iPhone 12 when restarts goes directly into silent mode. The silent button does not respond at all . Assistive touch can be used to turn on the ringer but the button just doesn’t work. Several time restarted the phone settings but issue is persistent. When ringer is turned on and phone is restarted it goes back to silent mode on default. Is this a hardware issue or software?

Ring/Silent button stuck on silent My ring/silent button is stuck on silent. Is there anyway that I can release it without taking it into the Genius Bar ? This is for an iPhone 6.

No, that's a physical switch.

If nothing (i.e. back cover) interferes with its normal activity, it could be a hardware glitch, but since your iphone is still covered by warranty, have it inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized Service Provider: Apple – Location Selector
