Defective IPhone Return

Hi all, I’ve lost the packaging apple sent me for the broken iPhone when they sent me the new one.

Can I send to Apple the broken one in a normal packaging?

Apple Repair i shipped my phone to apple as part of the replacement program they have for the iphone 7 and its already been a week and i was just wondering if it usually takes this long or they already shipped it back and my package got stolen or lost, also is there anyway i can check the status of my phone like if its already been shipped or apple is still in possession of it?

How/where do I return the defective iPhone? I received a new iPhone under warranty replacement. I received no instructions included about where and how to return the old phone. [Edited by Moderator]
