How do I install printer drivers on my MacBook?

As you are showing Catalina, have you checked if your networked printer model is supported in Apple's AirPrint, which negates installing vendor drivers and software. If not supported by AirPrint, the vendor drivers and support software must be 64-bit, or they won't work in Catalina.


Use the guidelines in Apple's article, If you can't print from your Mac or IOS device, and when re-adding the printer, select AirPrint instead of the vendor drivers (if Airprint supported), or the compatible vendor drivers.
