I am hosting on Blogger / google drive via Feed burner the error: "Can’t download episodes from your feed."

Sorry to bother you with something that might be easy for you.


I just recently got rid of Spreaker beacause of the cost. And have been able to host everywhere else but here.

Byte-range support

The server for your episodes must support “byte-range requests”, which enables podcast apps to fetch media in chunks. This is required to support streaming, and is required to be promoted in iTunes.

  • Hrmmm, the “0” status code was unexpected. Can you please report using the "?" in the lower-right corner?

the links are enclosed there and have the MIME type: audio/mpeg3

You can not use Google drive to host your media files - it does not meet the requirements Apple looks for per a proper podcast host. Where you host the files - they must be able to support byte range requests.


You need to look for a proper podcast host - here is a link for those hosts Apple does recommend:
