iMac late 2013 - Is there a way for me to run Animate with an external drive or other options?

I have a late 2013 iMac Desktop (MacOS Sierra ~ 2.7 GHz Processor ~ 8 GB )

I tried to download Adobe Animate but It won't allow me to as the program is pretty large. Is there some way for me to add an external drive or other options? I cannot afford a new computer right now. Thank you for any advice.

It's not because it's large. It requires macOS 10.13 High Sierra or later.

If you have 32bit apps you need to run, stick with one of the first two.
