FCP keyframes apple silicon 10.6.8

New Mac Studio M2 Max, Mac OS 13.5.2, running FinalCut Pro 10.6.8. Set up new (not restore from backup). No keyframes in Inspector. Can add them in Video Animation, but they don't show up in Inspector, and parameters are not captured with the keyframe.Have restarted, disconnected peripherals, and reset preferences for FCPX. No change.

Please post a screenshot of what you are seeing in the Inspector. Make sure that the relevant clip is selected and that you are seeing the correct pane of the Inspector (in this case, apparently it should be the video pane): do you not see Effects, Transform, Crop…? Again if you post a screenshot of what you are seeing, both in the timeline and the inspector, it may help us understand and provide better assistance to you.
