Time Machine Missing Top Tool Bar
iMac 21.5", macOS 10.15
Apple => System Preferences => Time Machine
At bottom of the window, click option "Show Time Machine in menu bar".

At bottom of the window, click option "Show Time Machine in menu bar".
Open the Time Machine preferences in System Preferences and you will find a check box to add that functionality. If the box is already checked and you still cannot see the icon, then please restart in Safe Mode per the instructions in Safe Mode Reset instructions and then restart normally and re-test.
