The time machine icon appeared on my desktop and covers websites that I am reading. how to remov it and keep in Launchpad?

Have never ever seen or hear of such behaviour for a Time Machine Backup Icon.
Refer ti image below to Not Show the icon in " Menu Bar "
The icon would Not Just disappear from Menu Bar.
Suspect the user ( you ) had the Time Machine Backup Application Open at the time the supposed issue occurred.
