Loading bar stuck on 100% regardless of what internal Drive is installed... Any ideas??

My Mac Air loading bar gets stuck on 100% regardless of what internal Drive is in it. It also does the same thing on Recovery Mode. Have reset PRAM and SMC, I've done First Aid on all the Drives I've tried (By putting them in another working Mac) but still no Joy. Really stuck... Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

MacBook Air

Try booting into Internet Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R. If it works, then try running Disk Utility First Aid. If you are booting into Recovery Mode using just Command + R, then you are actually booting from the local recovery partition on the SSD which may be damaged or have issues.

Try running the Apple Diagnostics.

Try booting into Safe Mode.

Exactly what SSDs are you using?

What is the exact model of the Air and version of macOS? You can get the exact model of the laptop by entering your serial number here:

Hi again,

Thanks for answering.

Internet recovery gets stuck on the loading bar.

Apple diagnostics says it's all fine, nothing amiss.

Safe Mode gets stuck on the loading bar.

There may well be an issue with the SSD because I did manage to swap the SSD with another (KNown to be good) SSD and although it still got stuck on normal boot, it did actually boot in Safe Mode.

It's a Mac Air A1466 mid 2017.

Have also tried a working installer USB but that gets stuck on the loading bar too.

Stumped! :)
