Updates

Can’t do updates because app were refunded or purchased with a different Apple ID, never happened before, always did automatically.

iPhone 5s, iOS 12

Some people have fixed this by signing out of the App Store/iTunes and then signing back in. That hasn't worked for everyone.


Check your purchases history to see if the apps are there.

If the apps aren't there, you can delete them and download them using your current Apple ID.


If the apps are there, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
