Printing.with Catalina 10.15.3

Hi since installing the SW update to my Mac mini I cannot air print to an HP office jet 69690, but I can print to it using my iPhone 10 or iPad.

Have tried resetting/deleting printer on the Mac, but when reinstalling get the following error:

Unable to verify printer on network due to an error.! Cancel or continue. but cannot continue just get the same error.

Should add printer and Mac are on the same WiFi network...

can you help please, as I mentioned all was ok before the update to 10.15.3

Did you try restarting the router and the printer?

Seems like that after a lot of playing around, using a fixed IP address for the printer seems to have solved the issue ..

I downloaded my printer drivers, stopped for more than 1 min my internet box, restarted my box.... and after, everything was ok. For me, issue solved

Did you print successfully under 10.15.0 through 10.15.2?

Yes that right it’s only happened since the update was applied

I have the same issue with my EPSON ET-3750 : my Macbook Pro mid-2015 under Catalina 10.15.3 cannot connect to my printer. It detects it but the connection/printing fails

Yes that’s a similar problem as me, the Mac shows the printer as online but will not print anything Just shows ‘unable to connect’ after some time trying to print.
