Iphone 11 Pro can't connect to Macbook Air Os Cantalina

I have updated my Macbook Air and iPhone 11 Pro with the latest software, but my iPhone won't connect to the Macbook via either of the USB ports. My Iphone repeatly appears at Locations on Sidebar and disappears right after that. My cable has no problem, I used it to connect another iphone to my Mac. And this Iphone 11 Pro can connect to another laptop. Any help would be much appreciated as this is really starting to annoy me.
