iMac download speed with 1 Gbps internet speed

I have a 2019 iMac that is connected to the ethernet. I have 1 Gbps internet speed with Frontier. I ran a speed test with Speedtest by Ookla. My download speed is 200.05 Mbps and my upload speed is 743.74 Mbps. I used to have 500/500 Mbps internet speed and the download speed was close to what it is with 1 Gbps internet speed. Is there something in the iMac limiting the speed? We did have a professional installer connect a Ubiquiti UAP-LR-3 UniFi AP Enterprise Long Range WiFi System (3 Pack) to the router as we have a large house and wanted to make sure we had wifi, with a strong signal, everywhere in the house. Is this somehow affecting the speed? once again, the iMac is connected to the ethernet so you would think the download speed would be faster.

What is the Cat rating of the current Ethernet cable?

How long is the Ethernet cable that you are using out to the iMac?

Has the Ethernet cable been tested to see if the connections are good on both ends?

Please read the fine print from your ISP, they all advertise high speeds like 1Gbps however the fine print clearly states they do not guarantee it. So when measuring, measure your speed at the modem and not the computer. Chances are very good the computer is just fine and the bottle neck is further up-line.

Speedtest allows you to try different servers. I would check with a few. FWIW, Speedtest isn't always reliable.

How many Network devices do have connected to your mesh router? I have 7 with gigabit internet speed. When you do a speed test on an individual device it shows the speed allocated by the router to that device. To get the speed of the connection you have to run a speed test on the router.
