Is it true that Davka 7 in Mac cannot color one's texts nor export in pdf? If not - how do I find these possibilities?

FWIW, Davka went out of business at the end of December 2017. I don't know if there is an alternate product.
FWIW, I found two articles that claimed Davka was closing Dec. 2017. However, looking at their site they mention they are working on a Catalina version. Therefore, I don't know if they are out of business or not. I would try contacting them.
Look into the Free LibreOffice, it handles MS Office files…
