Apple ID and Purchases

I’m in a bit of a vicious cycle at the moment...I have the incorrect iTunes and App Store on my phone (USA not UK) and I have £ on my Apple ID.

I cannot change the region of the stores until I use up the £ on the Apple ID, and I can’t use the £ on the Apple ID until I change store region.

i assume a solution would be for Apple to remove £ from the Apple ID, I change around the stores as necessary then they give me a code to get the £ back on my Apple ID.

Contact iTunes Support and ask them to zero balance your account. I'm not sure they will add the money back once you change stores. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
