Apple Music problem

Hello community,

I have a issue with the music from my Apple Music as follows:

  • I have downloaded on album on my phone
  • from 10 songs I can play only 6
  • the other 4 have a cloud with a exclamation sign within it

when I want to play one of the 4 songs i receive the following message: "this song is not synced across your devices to play it here go to itunes and turn on icloud syncing"

I have icloud syncing turned on, my computer is authorised, I have the last IOS available, and the last itunes version.

Any thoughts?

thanks,

George

Hi there rideabike88,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities! I understand you are unable to play some songs from an album in your Apple Music collection, and I'd like to help.

Try out the steps in this support article first: If songs are missing from your music library after you turn on Sync Library - Apple Support.

You can also find out more details about the cloud icon you are seeing here: Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support. The cloud icon with an exclamation mark means, "The song file is corrupt or there was an error uploading the song." You should open iTunes (or the Music app, if you are using macOS Catalina) on your computer and choose File > Library > Update Cloud Library, or Update iCloud Music Library, to resolve this.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, try deleting the album from your collection, then re-add it back to your library: Delete music, movies, and TV shows from your device - Apple Support.

Best regards.
