Voice language
Even though the phone is in Spanish. The audio in maps is in English. Is that an error?

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. It's my understanding that Maps audio is in English even though your iPhone settings are for Spanish. You've come to the right place! I'm happy to help.
Go to Setting > Siri & Search to make sure Spanish has been chosen as your language.
