Move ring reopening

I am looking for input if anyone has had an issue with their move ring being closed and then the ring opening back up?


The past two Sundays I have definitely closed my move ring and then the next morning I look and my move ring is back open. I called support and they had not heard of it doing that to anyone.


It is giving me the “perfect week for all rings” award so I know it was closed. I lost my move streak of 397 days because of this. I know it’s not first world problems but I work hard to close all 3 everyday.

I understand that the activity rings on your Apple Watch seem to have reverted to an earlier stat. I would like to look at this with you.


I would first ask if the ring activity updates to what is expected after restarting both your iPhone and your Apple Watch.


Restart your iPhone 


Restart Apple Watch


I would also make sure that both devices are up-to-date.


Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch


Update your Apple Watch


If you share an Apple ID with anyone, that could be affecting your activity rings.


Could you tell me if the rings are accurate within the Health app on your iPhone? A bit of clarification, has this happened two weeks in a row? At what point in your day did you notice the inaccuracy.
