It appears that there is a CarPlay issue with the 2020 Lexus NX - noNav. After working with a Lexus tech for a few hours, we determined:
On bluetooth, the "talk" button will not engage SIRI (held the button for 1.5+ seconds)
When plugged in, the microphone will disconnect (during a call) when a carplay Nav app talks.
Anyone else have this issue?

If we’re on the same page, I would start with ensuring that you’re on the latest version of the iOS software. There were some CarPlay fixes in the last update:

If you’re still experiencing issues after updating, I would contact Apple Support for further guidance.

Yes. I am on the latest version of iOS. I am awaiting Lexus corporate to get back to me.
Siri can only be activated when the phone is physically plugged in. And the microphone disengages when a CarPlay app talks (i.e. - gives directions)
