Messages not syncing between iPhone (and other devices) & Apple Watch.

Hi guys,

So I'm having trouble with messages syncing between my Apple devices and my Apple Watch.

So if I delete a message from my iPhone it will also delete from my iPad and Mac and vice versa, but, never my Apple Watch.

I thought with a previous OS update that all devices would be enabled to do this or am I just being silly?

Any idea's greatly appreciated.

All devices are up to date. I have checked that my messages in iCloud settings is enabled etc.

So I would be grateful for any help given!

Thanks

:)

Hi Adurrrrm,

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities! I see you have a question about Messages and your Apple Watch, and I'd like to do what I can to help out.

In looking at the article Keep all your messages in iCloud, I found the following information under the "Here's how it works," section at the top of the page:

"You can use Messages in iCloud on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac."

The Apple Watch is not listed as one of the devices which uses Messages in iCloud, which explains why you're not seeing the messages delete when they delete from all your other devices.

If you'd like to leave any feedback or suggestions about this feature you can do so by heading over to this site: Product Feedback.

Take care!
