Problem with the dock on my iMac

Just installed macOS Catalina 10.15.3. When I restarted my iMac several previously visited web sites now appear in the Dock. When I click on the icon the page will not open. It would seem like they are just there either frozen or as of some sort of shadow. How do I access or get rid of these icons in the Dock??
