How to get rid of a MacBook Pro hardware virus ?

After downloading an email after a couple of minutes my computer completely shut-off and had a horizontal line on-top. After a couple of days of trying to turn it on without freezing I was able to use it for a couple of minutes and then it would freeze, I found the zoom app on my applications so next time it worked I factory reset my computer. Unfortunately my computer still has a small glitch of my frozen screen before I rebooted the system, its almost unnoticeable but it makes me think that I still have the virus. What should I do?

MacBook Pro 15", macOS 10.12

Never heard of a virus that effects a Mac in this way.

If you suspect you have installed adware/malware. Try running this trusted utility https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

You may be better simply Try resetting NVRAM/PRAM http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1379

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test. Reboot and test will take a little longer as caches get rebuilt.

Sounds like something else, besides the great advice so far by Leroy...

EtreCheck is a simple little app to display the important details of your system configuration and allow you to copy that information to the Clipboard. It is meant to be used with Apple Support Communities to help people help you with your Mac.

Pastebin is a good place to paste the whole report...

Or use the paperclip at the bottom of a Reply to attach the full report here. :)

Workable but harder for me to work with...the Note tool on the bottom of this editor's toolbar, as shown in the image, to copy and paste the output from EtreCheck.
