i have one folder is alway on desktop contains import family pictures and don't want to save on iCloud, because the room of icloud is limited. recently i can't find this folder, is there anyone know how to find it or recover it?

See if you can find the file(s) using one of these programs. If you go Finder/View/Show Path Bar, it will show you where it is located.

Try logging in at iCloud.com and looking in iCloud Drive. I don't know where else it might have gone unless you did something with accidentally on your computer. Hopefully, it was backed up on an external drive or an alternative Cloud.
