osascript: can't open default scripting component.

Hello!

Sometimes after relogin after screen was blocked I am unable to execute osascript with "AppleScript" language with an active user, receiving an error 'osascript: can't open default scripting component.'. Running it with JavaScript language or with sudo are working fine. Logout and login doesn't solve a problem, only rebooting helps. It happens not so often but is pretty annoying.

macOS version is 10.15.2

Script Editor app and Applescripts not working under Big Sur For some reason, after the update to Big Sur 11.2, my Script Editor is no longer working. The app launches, but it refuses to open any Applescripts (no error message), and the 'Default Language' pop-up in the Preferences is blank (see screenshot). Anyone come across this before?

AppleScript: system info yields Access not allowed. Running the following in Script Editor or Script Debugger (7) use AppleScript version "2.4" -- Yosemite (10.10) or later use scripting additions set machine to computer name of (system info) yields an "Access not allowed" error similar to what is pictured in this screenshot. (Disregard `short user name`, `computer name` generates the same error.) Pointers greatly appreciated! macOS Big Sur 11.12.1
