For some reason, after the update to Big Sur 11.2, my Script Editor is no longer working. The app launches, but it refuses to open any Applescripts (no error message), and the 'Default Language' pop-up in the Preferences is blank (see screenshot).
Anyone come across this before?

Thanks for the help everyone. I eventually solved the issue by removing the contents of the ~/Library/Application Support and ~/Library/Caches folders and restarting. I'm not quite sure which particular subfolder was the culprit, but something in there was causing an issue with Applescript.

Quit Script Editor. Move the following files from /Users/username/Library/Preferences to your Desktop, and then relaunch Script Editor:
Fishing in the dark here as I have never encountered this issue with Script Editor in any release of macOS.
An update: it's something to do with my user profile — I set up a test user, and confirmed that it does not have this issue. I will do some more investigation.
Some further information. Running 'osascript' in Terminal returns 'osascript: can't open default scripting component'. Also, 'osalang' outputs the following — Applescript component is seen, but doesn't appear to have a name?

No, there are no options available from the selector. I suspect there is something in my configuration that is causing this. I tried deleting the Script Editor preferences, but that didn't help. There may be some other preference or something I don't know about that I need to delete. Any suggestions welcome!
Not my experience following the installation of the released macOS 11.2. Mine works fine with AppleScript (2.7) in the Default Language selection. Can you select that from the blank selector?
Have removed all startup items and restarted, but problem persists.
