New iphone with gmail access issue

New iphone 11 won't let me access my gmail account. It sends authorization numbers/codes to my old phone. How can I access my gmail with the new phone?

Did you change your phone number?

Are you referring to Apple ID?

It would be better if you can please post a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images / pictures speak louder than words.
