macbook air turns off during install

I have an old late 2011 MacBook Air that was working fine until I tried to wipe the drive. Now when I try do a fresh install, the computer turns off. I have tried resetting the PRAM, booting from a thumb drive, I've tried it all. I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas before I buy a new logic board and ssd for it.

My macbook air doesn’t turn on.. even by chance it turns on as i type in my password and get in it crashes completely.. is there a way i fix it? Is there any way i can make it work?

My MacBook Air will not reboot What can I do to reboot my MacBook Air. The screen stays dark when I try to reboot with no sounds at all coming from it. Does this mean my info on the hard-drive within the MacBook Air is lost?

Resetting SMC could solve the issue.
