MacBook Pro 2019 "Catalina" exhibits GPU memory leak with external displays

I connected the external samsung s22e390 display using the samsung dex cable ee-i3100 .

After that, the graph of the GPU memory in the iStat menu, showing steady growth, reaches 96 - 98%.

Only "chrome" is used in the work (10 - 20 tabs)

In this case, the macbook works fine (no brakes).

To reset the memory, you can restart the display.

Closing the browser partially frees the memory, but even at rest, the memory grows by 0.1 - 0.2%

This problem is very similar to https://discussions.apple.com/thread/8150105

How is it possible to solve this problem?

MacBook Pro 15”, macOS 10.15

Why do you think that is a problem in the first place?

You do not seem to have any display issue or loss of performance. Other than the use of vram seeming high, is there some issue? If something was kept in vram and now is not needed it is better to keep it and only release that memory if it is needed by something else. The same goes for ram. There is only a problem if memory is not released in a timely fashion *when it’s needed*.
