Unable to download and install Outlook (Office 365) update

I have a MacBook running Catalina. I also have Office 365. Recently, I started getting pop-ups from Microsoft to download and install latest Outlook update. This is ok because I have always had it set up for automatic downloads. However, when I click on download and install an error message comes up saying that there is another installation in progress and I need to try again later. I tried several times to complete the update but I always get this message. Anyone else having this problem? Has Office 365 stopped working with Catalina after last Catalina update (10.15.3)?
